The figure of the horse has long transcended its tangible form, becoming a spiritual gene that flows deep within civilization. It embodies the auspicious connotations of Chinese culture, representing a warm expression of the harmonious relationship between humans and all things, as well as the boundless realm of imaginative creativity ； It also carries the glory and resilience of the West, writing chapters of loyalty and fearlessness on the field of history. From the philosophical insights of the Qian trigram in the I Ching to the loyalty of the Red Hare, from the agility of horses galloping through the air to their swift runs atop the Alps, horses have, in their diverse forms, connected the threads of civilizations throughout history and across cultures.

“Ride the swift steed and gallop forth; come, my companion, and lead me on this path. Through this complete metaphorical representation of the spirit of the swift steed—from its vigorous pace to its graceful posture—； Transform traditional spiritual imagery into tangible, modern materials. Under the guidance of Mr. Wang Jinfeng, the craftsmen followed traditional techniques and spent two years meticulously crafting these Eastern auspicious horses, thereby bringing to life a new Eastern narrative in the [Ten Thousand Horses Galloping] roundtable design.

This round table represents a spiritual imagery related to the concept of “surging forward”； Capturing the moment when a horse’s hooves leave the ground, we freeze that moment of poised energy in a five-layered, golden design resembling hooves stacked one atop another. It’s not an attempt to recreate the shape of a single horse, but rather to capture the essence of thousands of horses galloping together. This magnificent image has been skillfully detached from its historical context and placed gently upon the table legs, where it now resides in the warmth of everyday family gatherings.   

During these gatherings, culture is no longer a distant concept; it becomes tangible details within sight, the warmth one can feel in the palm of their hand. The vitality inherent in traditional “progress” transforms into a warm energy that brings people together.

Five layers of hoof beats, a cross that reaches to the heavens

Five layers of golden hoof patterns stacked one atop another, each representing a step forward in progress, subtly embody the traditional concept of “thousands of horses galloping.” These patterns not only convey the essence of “vigorous advancement and vitality” inherent in Chinese culture through their tangible form but also break away from the symbolic heaviness of such imagery, transforming into a delicate and elegant detail that adds charm to the dining table.

"The number five also embodies positive connotations such as “fortune, prosperity, longevity, happiness, and wealth,” as well as symbols of bountiful harvests.

It is supported by a cross-shaped base, echoing the sturdy design tradition of Chinese woodworking； The smooth texture of the central marble balances out the heaviness of the wood and the luxury of the gold, allowing the “thickness of the disc, the clarity of the stone patterns, and the sharpness of the golden hooves” to interweave and create a harmonious blend of materials that achieves the balance characteristic of modern Chinese aesthetics.

We hope to regain our cultural confidence by reviving memories of horses. Let us together explore this forgotten history and rediscover the spiritual forces that are ingrained in our very being.
